Thailand Hoop Retreat
December 4-11, 2010

Join us on the beautiful island of Koh Samui in Southern Thailand!  Seven nights, eight days of hooping and enjoying this lovely place.  We have reserved a gorgeous villa for us to hoop, play, stretch, dance, swim, relax and hang out.  The Ban Kinaree Villa sleeps up to 10 people and is spread out in three Thai style pavilions, surrounded by lush gardens, an infinity style pool and wide open lawn space for us to hoop. 

Koh Samui is located in the Gulf of Thailand (bordering the South China Sea in the Pacific Ocean).  Beautiful beaches with white sand and fringed with coconut palms make this easygoing "paradise" a wonderful place to relax, and perhaps get a Thai massage.
  
Daily hoop and yoga sessions are planned along with family style meals and play time. There will also be plenty of time to relax and go off exploring on your own.  Enjoy the spacious and luxurious accommodations, visit the nearby fishing town and or just hang out at the local beach and relax.

This luxury villa has shared room accommodations, so we suggest traveling in pairs. The rooms are very comfortable, each with private bathroom facilities. You also have full access to the entire villa grounds including kitchen, a gorgeous pool, dining, lounge areas and gardens. We will have a housekeeper and chef available to prepare 1-2 meals daily, or opt for cooking with the group or solo.  If you would like to bring your significant other with you, that would be great as they will enjoy this retreat even if they don't hoop.

Our daily hooping sessions will include varied amounts of instruction and will be tailored to meet beginner and intermediate levels. Guided exercises and multi-level skill building will be included, along with lots of free time for personal practice with the group.  A special firehooping celebration will happen at the end.  You can expect a good amount of hooping practice at this retreat, that will definitely take your hooping skills to the next level! 

Example of Daily Schedule
7:30-9:00 am breakfast
8:30-9:30 am yoga
9:30-11:00 am hoop session
11:30-1:00 pm lunch
2-5 pm free time or group event
5-6 pm hoop session
6:30-8pm  dinner
7:00pm -? Free time or special group evening event

Registration includes participation in our week long event, December 4-11, 2010.

Included in your retreat price:
8 days / 7 nights lodging for up to 2 people per room and full use of this beautiful villa
daily hoop and yoga lessons
continental breakfast for the entire 8 days
transportation to and from the Koh Samui Airport to the Ban Kinnaree Villa

Not included:   Airfare and transportation to and from your home to the Koh Samui Airport, meal plan, and extra activities.
Note:  The villa is very secluded and located about 2 miles out of the nearby fishing village (about a 30 minute walk), we will have a rental car available for our group field trips only.  If you feel the need to be more mobile then we recommend renting a car in Koh Samui.

Continental breakfast is included with your retreat package and we will have a chef available to cook 1-2 meals daily for an additional charge.  Meal plan details coming soon to registered participants!

Your deposit of $475 is due upon registration.  Additional installments will be due at the end of each month through October.  The final payments for this retreat are due October 31.
Your deposit of $475 is non-refundable, the remaining registration you pay is refundable until July 31, after this date, registration is non-refundable.

Getting there;
Fly to Bangkok Intl. Airport (BKK)
There are many daily flights from the Intl and domestic Airport in Bangkok to Samui Airport (USM).  Bangkok Air flies direct to Samui Airport.  A flight schedule with Bankgok Airways is found here.  Also Thai Airways has two daily flights to Samui Airport.
Let us know of your arrival plans in Koh Samui and we will arrange to have a car pick you up and take you to the villa.
