Costa Rica Hoop Retreat
July 11-16, 2011

Join us on the Western shores of Costa Rica.  Montezuma is nested in the southern Nicoya Peninsula, and is surrounded by a bountiful rainforest, unspoiled beaches and breathtaking waterfalls.  Travelers “in the know” enjoy this quaint and adventure loving town not only for its eclectic shops and fresh food eateries but especially for the outskirts of the town and the nearby nature reserve.  The air feels wonderful, the water is warm and the jungles are lively and beautiful.  This is an amazing time to be visiting this special place. We’ve reserved a gorgeous villa that will sleep up to 12 people. Spacious and very comfortable, this is like staying at a 5 star hotel, but better because we will be hooping!

Daily hoop and yoga sessions are planned along with family style meals and play time. There will also be plenty of time to relax and go off exploring on your own. Visit the nearby waterfalls, go surfing, swing on zip lines through the jungle canopy, rent an ATV and cruise the coastline or just hang out at the local beach and relax.

This luxury villa has shared room accommodations, so we suggest traveling in a small group of 2-4 friends. The rooms are very comfortable, each with private bathroom facilities. You also have full access to the entire villa grounds including kitchen, a gorgeous pool, dining, lounge areas and acres of jungles and waterfalls to explore. We will have a housekeeper and chef available to prepare 1-2 meals daily, or opt for eating out.

Our scheduled hooping sessions will include varied amounts of instruction and will be tailored to meet beginner and intermediate levels. Guided exercises and multi-level skill building will be included, along with lots of free time for personal practice with the group.  A special firehooping celebration will happen at the end of the week on the beach.

7:30-9:00 am breakfast
8:30-9:30 am yoga
9:30-11:00 am hoop session
11:30-1:00 pm lunch
2-5 pm free time or group event
5-6 pm hoop session
6:30-8pm  dinner
7:00pm -? Free time or special group evening event

Registration includes participation in our week long event, July 11-16, 2011.

NEW!  Transportation to and from the Tambor Airport to the villa on July 11 and July 16 at specified times TBD!

Not included:  Transportation and Airfare to and from your home to San Jose Intl. Airport and to Montezuma, transportation to and from the villa into town (except on group trips and selected dates for Tambor airport), meal plan, and extra activities are also not included.

Note:  The villa is very secluded and located about 3 miles out of Montezuma town (about a 30 minute walk), we will have a rental car available for our group field trips only.  If you feel the need to be more mobile then we recommend renting a car in Montezuma.

Your deposit of $325 is due upon registration.  Additional installments will be due each month, with the final installment due one month prior to departure date.

Your deposit of $325 is non-refundable, the remaining registration you pay is refundable until March 31, 2011 after this date, registration is non-refundable.

Getting there;
Fly to San Jose International Airport (SJO)
Next door to the Intl airport is the Regional Airport, where you can take Sansa Airlines to Tambor Airport (TMU)
Let us know of your travel arrangements and we can pick you up if you come in on Monday July 11.
